Thanks to everyone that has been wishing us well and calling to see how I am doing. Dan has been really great the last couple days, including with bringing me IHOP. Things may not always work out the way we want them too, but when you actually have time to think about things rationally you can see how things are working out in their own way.

But it wasn't long before Trista decided that she didn't like the wind, the bright white stuff and not being able to get to her hands.
Such a sweet girl, and gets bored easy like mommy.

Each tried to sneak a snowball into the house in their pocket.

The trees were beautiful though.

Glistening in the snow.

But when all else fails.

Do donuts where one wrong move can put you in the river.

You dig out your ice scraper (that was majorly buried), dig out your boots (not worn since snowboarding six years ago) and dig out your van for a fun day of driving back country roads to the mountains (where you can't see the lines).

There's a cold front moving in from the north with a high pressure system that is due to bring strong winds............... (okay).
